My son recived this for his 8th birthday. The assembly was easy. The goal is light enough to move around yet sturdy enough for play by my goalie in training. He can play street hockey with or without his rollerblades and has a blast. The middle support bar up the back is a great addition. It provides stability and "It looks like our practice goal!" It passed my budding player's test's with flying colors.

Great quality, easy to assemble, it seems like it will last until my son grows up...he's six now. I paid $39.99 with shipping so price was excellent. A great purchase altogether!

I was surprised with the quality of this goal. We so far have only used it inside so I can't say how it is with wind or a super fast ball hitting it. But indoors it is great. Easy to set up if you follow the directions.

I purchased two plastic ones before purchasing this one. Both plastic ones have come and gone, but this one still survives the neighborhood hockey kids. I am actually going to purchase a second one for Christmas this coming season.

We had a pvc homemade goal but with the cold Chicago winter it was in constant need of repair. My 16 year old talked me into buying this metal goal and we have not regretted it.

I played a lot of street hockey growing up but only ever had the little metal goals that wore out quickly. Last year my wife brought home a neat looking goal and my son and I started using it and were pleased. Unfortunately, it was made of plastic and broken rather easily and had to be junked after only a few hours of use. This goal is made of metal and not the thin kind. It took me approx 15-20 minutes to assemble it. It's awesome. The metal pipes do not go through the netting but rather the netting is sewn onto sheaths for the pipes to fit through. The rear brace is a nice extra touch.

I do have one complaint but it is minor. The netting is fairly taut such that if the ball enters the goal with any velocity it will likely pop right back out.

All in all I am very pleased with this and would highly recommend it.

High quality great for the kids to move around the driveway much better than there old plastic tubing goal this is metal and should last a long time even with my boys who are tough on hockey nets......well worth the price..

My boys have gone through several of the PVC plastic type nets in our driveway, so it was time to go with a metal one. This is excellent quality, while still being very reasonably priced in comparison to the plastic ones.

I just wanted a net to use on my backyard ice rink. This did the job well. It looks like it will hold up for quite a while.
