First off, the opening for the shaft is really small. I think it may be designed for an intermediate size stick. I tried to slip the Jet Flo onto a Sherwood 5030 Senior wood shaft and the holder portion of the blade cracked open like the Grand Canyon. I used a couple of deck screws to secure it and put on some hockey tape to hide the crack, so problem solved, but still not too happy about it. Thankfully I only paid three bucks for it.

In terms of performance, I give it 2 stars as these blades are not stiff. You can pretty easily flex them with your hands so they're only good for light stick play like passing a ball or street puck around in your driveway. You can get away with slap shots with a ball, but don't bother with a street puck because the blades flexes horribly under pressure. The blade is essentially just a toy, so it's not capable of performing up to traditional stick standards. Use a real hockey stick/shaft with an ABS blade if you need something with better outdoor performance that's still durable.

In terms of durability I'd give it 5 stars as these blades will last you a while. They slowly whittle away until you've got a sliver of a blade left. My friends and I used them a lot when we were kids and the one I'm using now seems to have the exact same qualities as the blades from 20 years ago.

Overall, it's great for adults or kids to play around with, but horrible for any type of true competitive play.
