As an old fan of Mylene Farmer, I was very pleased with this DVD. The artistic qualities of the videos and the beauty of the music are worth seeing and listening. It is the second time I order DVD of music videos of Mylene Farmer from Amazon since it is not possible to get them in Canada. Despite Amazon mention that the format is NTSC, it is not true. Both the Volume 1 and the volume 2 (Which is titled in fact volume II and III) are PAL and not NTSC. Fortunatly, they are region free so these DVD's can be played on DVD player reading both PAL or NTSC such as Philips, Coby and many others without problems even if the DVD player are Region 1. I would ask Amazon to make the correction so that buyers won't be deceived. It is clearly mention on the back of the box containing the DVD that it is a PAL DVD.Note that these DVD's work fine on any computer.Thank you Amazon for allowing us in North America to obtain these excellent Music DVDs. Thank you.

The videos are excellent, specially "Que Mon Coeur Lache" which is not part of any of her studio albums. Please note this DVD contains volume II and III. The only reason it's not getting the 5 stars is because it would not play in my Panasonic DVD player, however it does play very nicely in my computer. Other than the region issue, it is a "must have" for any Mylene Farmer's fan.

First of all two important issues 1, In the USA it will be hit or miss if it will play in your standard dvd player. I have 6.. Don't ask why please :-) It plays in 3 of them. Humm interesting so I went to my favorite audiophile store and put the question to them..The answer made perfect sense. The cheaper the internal chipsets the sloppier they are made.. I have a $20.00 junk store player that will play anything you put in it..Even old playstation games..but dont do that will make a hell of a lot of noise. Now a days if you want to be sure just shop here on good old Amazon for a Region free player...I picked up a great blu-ray region free for less than $200.00.
Now issue number two..This video is not for children or the faint of heart, this is an artist of tremendous talent,however you need intellegence and appreciation of the arts to enjoy it. I do not understand French This just improves my enjoyment of it. Long ago a professor of mine made a quote I love. "Voice the only instrument made by God" Mylene has one of the finest voices I have ever heard and this video collection she uses her talents around the video to tell thought provoking stories for my mind. I might note I have not translated what she is singing, it would ruin the effect her work has on me. In closing play the second video (train one) on a good home theatre.REAL LOUD.She out powers that locomotive. And Mylene if you ever read this, thank you from an old beat up guy that went through some of what you portray..You help me keep going!!!
