These Mylicon drops are amazing.
I have tried others, and my baby was very unconfortable with the gas.
These are the best.

This is great product. If you have a infant or toddler who wakes themselves up with their stinkiness this is a lifesaver. I've found it works best when used consistently for at least 9 hours in a row.

I got this because I heard that it could help with gas pains. I gave it to my son after feeding him (or during, if he was getting a bottle) for the first month after he was born. It was easy to forget to give it to him so I had plenty of times to compare his reaction after feeding. I did not notice a difference at all between the times when I gave him the medicine and the times when I did not.

I asked my doctor about it and he said that studies have proven that there is no real benefit to this medication. That being said, he said that some parents swear by it. If you want to try it I recommend getting one small bottle (I bought many because we went thru it quickly and I wanted to have it in different places in the house) and trying it out. I wish I had not bothered with it because, in addition to being a waste of money, it was a waste of time during an a already hectic time. I gave it more than one star because it was easy to administer and it has a pleasant taste.

[In the end we just watched the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD and learned techniques to settle our son down, gas does not seem to have been an actual issue.]
