Book Description

November 1984
Myrtle Fillmore was a pioneer in Christian metaphysics. Her successful use of affirmative prayer inspired her husband Charles to pursue metaphysical thought as well. This biography of the dynamic cofounder of Unity gives a moving account of Myrtle's life and the history of the Unity movement. It was researched, written, and edited over a two-year period. The author, Thomas E. Witherspoon, pored over thousands of documents, letters, and articles by or about Mrs. Fillmore; visited every area where she lived; and talked to many people who knew her personally. This insightful volume also includes some of Myrtle's personal thoughts, favorite affirmations, and samples of her inspiring poetry.

This review is from: Myrtle Fillmore: Mother of Unity (Hardcover)
I have not finished the book, however, the author is a great speaker, coach and mentor. He is also a serious hiker. If you would like to hear him in person visit Unity at the Lake, Lake Tahoe, CA
