I got all three books -- but be aware that they were not written in their chronological order:
Book 2, The Book of Ti'Ana Book 1, The Book of Atrus Book 3, The Book of D'ni is the order you should read them in, to keep the story in chronological order. (Your entry into the original Myst game is 'explained' at the very end of 'The Book of Atrus'.) They provide a very nice backstory & background for the game series, and are fairly well written -- they could stand on their own as a fantasy series. |
