A Christmas gift for a 9 yr old. A set of books she had enjoyed from her school library. She was thrilled to have her own set.

My 10-yr. old son is not a big reader, but A-Z Mysteries keep him interested. And better yet, he scores 90% or higher on AR tests which means his comprehension is high. This is the best part.

We had already purchased Q-Z of these books for my eight-year-old daughter at a school book fair. She loved them so much she asked Santa for the rest of the alphabet. Santa obliged, and she is tearing through them! They are a lot of fun, although somewhat easy reads if your child is an advanced third-grade reader.
