5.0 out of 5 stars Very Worthwhile, December 17, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Mysteries of Deep Space - PBS Home Video (Exploding Stars and Black Holes/The Search for Alien Worlds/To the Edge of the Universe) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
My husband and I watch these videos a couple times a month. Despite the fact that we've both read many books on quantum physics, space, astrology, etc., we still find these very informative if for no other reason than to remind us about some of those stunning details we all forget about our vast universe. My personal favorite is the Black Hole video since they do a wonderful job explaining how gravity wins, etc. It's a great set for children who are beginning to get the concepts of our great expanse. We look forward to sharing these with our children when they're a bit older to understand. Truly a wonderful series.

5.0 out of 5 stars pretty cool stuff..., September 20, 2007
This review is from: Mysteries of Deep Space - PBS Home Video (Exploding Stars and Black Holes/The Search for Alien Worlds/To the Edge of the Universe) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Very well put together, incredible visuals and narrative. I've watched all 4 in this collection numerous times and find it fascinating each time. It has all the latest shots from Hubble and is very informative. I don't really have a favorite as each is a wonderful exploration of space.
