4.0 out of 5 stars A look back in time, October 30, 2011
This review is from: Mysteries and Legends of Arizona: True Stories of the Unsolved and Unexplained (Myths and Mysteries Series) (Paperback)
I felt I was sitting camp side, at a bar, and in a dive restaurant hearing these stories. It is an interesting mix of truth backed up by research and hearsay. It made me want to visit Quartzsite, find the ghosts in Prescott, and search for gold in the Superstitions. I am a native of Arizona but haven't had that small town feel in awhile. There is a lot of culture and caution that goes with these stories. And most importantly it reminded me to tread lightly while dealing with Apaches. They have a lot of history that caused them a great deal of trouble leading to unexplained results. If you want a story to tell while hanging out in the small towns of Arizona this is a great place to start.
