Great buy for the fans of unexplained phenomena.,
By J. Maldonado (Lompoc, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Mysteries of the Unexplained (Paperback)
This is a great book, because it has a little bit of everything in it! Everything unexplained that is. The book is actually bigger than I expected. I was expecting to get a tiny 7'x5' book but instead it was 11'x 9. The pictures in it are big, colorful and fascinating. A wonderful read and a great additon of the unexplained for my collection.

Old Wine In a New Bottle,
By "fahimrehman" (Istanbul, TURKEY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Mysteries of the Unexplained (Paperback)
Dear readers I am an Indian born, Russian educated married man now settled in this beautiful city Istanbul, Turkey. No doubt that Mr.Carlson had tried his best to put all the spices into his book. He is not to be criticized, because he has brought the people around the globe somethings they never knew about or ever heard of before. The reason for writing this is to express what I felt. Wouldn't it be great to support the author and those millions of Carlsons around the world for them to publish books with glossy pages, almost real photographs with more detailed animations, something like the Kindergarden Books?? This would therefore attract more people all around the planet. For instance, some of my friends didn't even bother to borrow it from me niether did any one of them showed any interest to go ahead and buy it instead of buying cigarettes for the week..... I had "The Mysteries of The Unexplained" back in the 80s, don't remember the author, but sure the publishers were very much the Readers Digest and I can recall the attraction of that book mesmerized people so much that it travelled from hand to hand and from house to house for more than a year until I lost it's trace..... I the last 'star' not from Mr.Carlson, but I snatched it from the man who had snatched the attraction of the book, who could give it more looks and more attention.... Thank you Mr.H.G.Carlson for the days and nights of your effort and hard work to bring us such beautiful pages bound together to be called "The Mysteries of the Unexplained" Fahim Rehman
