This review is from: The Mysteries of Vajrayana Buddhism: From Atisha to Dalai Lama (Hardcover)
Not only does the author know absolutely nothing about Vajrayana, he is an awful writer. In some apparent self delusion that he is a deep thinker, he writes hugely long sentences composed of huge words. However, when one reads the line (or paragraph - same thing) a few times, the awareness arises that the sentence makes no sense. Also, he does not get some of the fundamental principles. In fact, even in the bio. on the dustcover - apparently written him - one realizes that he cannot write. "His published books serve him as telescopic lights that seem to stretch through new galaxies emerging continuously in the Supernovic situations." That is an example of the more lucid moments. Apparently he doesn't lack in grandiosity. His works do not seem to stretch through new galaxies in my opinion. They seem limited by the confines that occur when a bad writer picks a subject he knows nothing about. I threw my copy in the garbage, because it did not deserve to be near Hopkins or Geshe Kelsang or Nargajuna, and I wouldn't take the karmic responsibility of giving it away.
