5.0 out of 5 stars Unexplained Phenomena, January 6, 2008
This review is from: Mysteries of the World: Unexplained Wonders and Mysterious Phenomena (Hardcover)
This work has a collection of unique occurrences which
have no scientific explanation, per se. For instance,
Derinkuyu has been an underground community over centuries.
Silbury Hill is a place with documented healing/miracles.
The Kirlian photos produce an aura which helps diagnose
illness. Bernadette Soubirous died of tuberculosis circa
1879, yet her body remains remarkably preserved.

There are documented cases of levitation. The stigmata
phenomenon depicts devout believers with wounds
emulating Christ. Lignin vanillin decomposition helps
to place the Shroud between 1300-3000 years old.
Morpho-genic resonance refers to transferring
information between generations in the same family.

Believers in telepathy believe in telepathic information
transfer. The Isle of Mu sank in the Pacific, yet there are
traces in Chichen Itza. Some corpses project a thin
light or aura.

The Divining Rod is an Y shaped branch. When it is pointed
inward at waist level, ground water may be discovered
vibrationally. The Yeren in Hubai is a 6 1/2' ape.
There are witnesses who saw Daniel Douglas fly. ( 1833-66)
i.e. Mark Twain and John Ruskin

A number of healers have been successful in remitting some
very difficult cases:
o Dr. Romeu Correa de Araiejo Filko in Goiania, Brazil
o Rafael Batyrov in S. Russia diagnoses via a person's
reflection
o Christos Drossinakis is a European healer
o Olga Worrall of the USA and Piotr Elkunovi of Germany are
noted healers
o Laurence Cacteng is a noted spiritual healer
o Fakir is a noted Indian healer

All-in-all, the volume contains some very interesting
phenomena which are well documented according to the
authors.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting book, April 27, 2009
This review is from: Mysteries of the World: Unexplained Wonders and Mysterious Phenomena (Hardcover)
This book talks about many mysteries and phenomena that have occured over time. This book has some things like bigfoot and lockness which is expected, but also has many topics you probably didn't know about before reading. This is by far one of the best things I have ever read and is very engaging and interesting.
