4.0 out of 5 stars Concise compilation of alternate history theories, February 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mysterious Origins of Man Trilogy [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I've actually only seen the first video in the series, both on television and I later bought the tape. It's an excellent video overview of of alternate history theories such as those put out by authors Graham Hancock, Charles Hapgood, Michael Cremo, et. al. Seeing this video was my starting point for becoming greatly interested in prehistory topics. The stories and evidence are very compelling when presented in a direct visual fashion such as can be done by video. One of the most interesting and potentially feasible ideas presented was that what we have come to know as the island of Atlantis may in fact have been the continent (island) of Antartica. The theories given for this make a lot more sense to me than landmasses sinking in the middle of the ocean. Anybody just starting out in this field of interest, or people that would like a video companion for books in these subjects that they already have would find this an excellent addition to their video library.
