4.0 out of 5 stars How to get the last 2 games to work! June 5, 2012
Verified Purchase
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
For those of you having trouble installing Nemesis and Dracula, please follow these steps:
- Make sure disc 2 of your Mystery 5 pack is in your disc drive
- Go to "My Computer"
- Right-click the disc drive that your game disc is in
- Click Explore
- Open the Data File Folder
- Double-click on Setup

Then, you can choose to start installing the games.

As for the games themselves, I am a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, so I may be a bit biased, but I found them to be pretty entertaining. If you enjoy mysteries and paying attention the the small details, then this game might be for you as well.
These games are not about excellent graphics, but rather about storyline and getting involved.

Other than the installation problem, these games are good for those who love mystery and have patience and a keen eye.

2.0 out of 5 stars Warning for Windows 7 May 7, 2012
Verified Purchase
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
I purchased these games for my Windows 7 desktop. I knew this was a gamble, since the listing clearly shows only XP and Vista. Here is the result:

Disk 1:
Mystery Of The Mummy: Install OK, Runs OK
Secret Of The Silver Earring: Install OK, Runs OK
Sherlock Holmes Awakened: Installs, but error when running

Disk 2:
Sherlock Holmes Nemesis : Will not install
Dracula: Will not install

2 games out of 5 work. For the price, this was OK

3.0 out of 5 stars Three out of Five ain't bad May 1, 2013

Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
This 5-pack came on two DVDs. The first one (with 3 games) ran OK - the 1st was pretty old, with low-rez graphics, but I liked the 2nd one a lot, and the 3rd was also good. The 2nd DVD had SH/Nemesis (aka SH vs Arsene Lupin) and Dracula: Origin. Both "seemed" to install OK, but I couldn't run either one. When I clicked on the Nememsis shortcut (or double-clicked game.exe), the screen flashed quickly and did nothing. For Dracula, I got past the intro screens, but when I selected "New Game" from the menu, the screen went black and nothing happened. I tried several fixes, including some recommended game.exe files from the forums, and fooled around with PhysX (which some people seemed to think was the problem). Nothing worked, and I gave up on both games.
