4.0 out of 5 stars Complex and Interesting, June 2, 2011
In this story Jessie and Violet get to play on a baseball team while Henry helps out and Benny is the batboy. Then a bat is stolen, and returned. Then a glove is stolen, and not returned. Then Stockings, the teddy bear mascot of the team, is stolen and Benny is very upset. Who is the thief? The Boxcar children spend a lot of time talking about the problems, and in the last chapter they solve the mystery.
