I ordered the candle mystery box & when I received it one of the candles was broken. I emailed the company asking for a replacement of the one candle that was broken. It took a while for them to answer my email, but when they did they told me they would promptly send a replacement. I was very surprised to get not only a replacement candle, but they sent me a whole new mystery box of candles.

I would order from them again.

Sometimes it can be scary ordering a "mystery box" but I based my descion on other's reviews. What a great deal!! No tiny little votive candles here! I ordered 3 boxes to get a start on Christmas gift giving and will decorate them up a bit to make them more festive. Each box came with different candles, but a basic mix of tall pillar candles and large glass jar candles. The largest candle was about 9" in vase shaped frosted glass container and the smallest were 4" cubes in glass. One candle was a large heart-shape wrapped in cellaphane. Hanna Candles is the maker of Kathy Ireland candles which sell for about $7 each. To get 6 in a box for $8.99 is a deal far worth taking. The packing was very well-done - an appropriate amount of bubble wrap and paper. The scent was typical (light) for the pillars (w/o glass), and pretty good for the glass container candles. Summary: The candles I received in the mystery box were attractive, of gift-giving quality, of standard scent strength, and the best economic deal out there. You won't be disappointed with this mystery box. (If you are looking for INTENSE scent, nothing beats [...] for candles starting at $11 each - totally worth it!).

This is a great deal -- 10 pounds of candles for 10 bucks! Costs more to ship it than to buy it and it's still a great deal.

I was expecting maybe a bunch of random 3"x3" candles, but I got quite a mix. Everything from small spa candles to large Christmas candles in fancy glass containers. There were some summer candles, some holiday candles and all sorts of scents and sizes, plain wax and in jars, all of which were good. I got the feeling they just put the box on a scale and kept adding stuff until it reached the required size and weight, then sent it off. Good packaging, nothing chipped or broken, nothing clanked as I carried it up the steps despite numerous glass jars in there.

I really just wanted some assorted, random scented candles (because I don't know jack about buying candles for my girlfriend) and we really enjoyed this box.

Candles arrived in great condition, most are soy and burn & smell just great! Service is also good as I have ordered again directly through Candlemart. Shipping is quite slow.(room for improvement).
