While definitely inclined toward those of the Catholic faith, Schönborn's work provides an enlightening view of the Catholic Creed and its implications in light of myth, modern-day Christmas commerciality. It addresses the question which is pertinent in any epoch: "But how can we believe in this myth?" Although I am not a Catholic, nor even a Christian, I found the book easy to read and enlightening. The author discusses various modern theories and questions which seem to be very pertinent to this generation. I recommend this book for those who are interested in further understanding of not only the Incarnation, but also of the Catholic faith. |
