This book is so funny. With lots of action. It is also mysterious and spooky. I want to read it a millon times.

I think this was the best book in the series that I've read so far. It was more exciting than the other books, even though when Sean knocks the curator over into the knight suits, they wouldn't fall like dominos, as Bill Meyers says. Also, they would be behind glass to protect them. But other than that, it was the best book in the series. --Andy, eleven years old

I'll admit I only came across this book because I enjoy invisible man fiction and the words in the title told me there was an invisible knight. I hadn't rushed to read this book afraid I was going to be lectured to about God as the back cover blurb sort of implies but pleasantly this did not happen. Even more satisfying was the fact that it was a great book. This book may not have initially been what I was after but the fact remains it's a great book.

Scooby Doo style but minus the dog, two religious kids set off to solve the mystery of a knight (which when it lifts up its armour face visor apears to be invisible inside the armour to those who see it.) The knight is stealing valuable items (jewels, gold and so on) to remake its historic sword. It is also scaring their small town with its claims it will have its vengeance on relatives of those who overthrew its rule in medieval times, two of which happen to be the two child heros Sean and Melissa Hunter.

The only downside to this book and the reason I didn't rate it five stars (and maybe I'm giving away a bit of a plot spoiler here so skip to the next paragraph if you haven't read this yet) was that the father tells the kids God said invisible men or ghosts can't exist. I didn't have a problem with the religious inclusion as it was outlined on the back cover and I knew this going in before purchasing the book but I thought this dialogue could have happened at the end so the readers maybe had in thier mind that there might really be an invisible knight. The outcome was a bit predictable without this possiblity especially considering the illustration on the front cover. That's my only fault with this book. Great read otherwise.

If you were like me and after good fiction stories about being invisible, invisible men (or kids) the best two novels are Memoirs of an Invisible Man by H. F. Saint, Smoke by Donald E Westlake. These two books are adult ficiton and maybe a bit above the reading level of some kids.

If junior fiction is all you are interested in then the best of this genre are My Best Friend Is Invisible (Goosebumps) by R. L. Stine, You Are Invisible: CYOA #48 by Susan Saunders, The Invisible Day by Marthe Jocelyn, Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich by Adam Rex, you can even get an illustrated version of H.G. Wells 1897 classic The Invisible Man (Great Illustrated Classics).

Highly enjoyed this book I would read others in this series (this is book 2) if came across them.

In this book Sean and Melissa Hunter must stop a knight who is robbing stores all over town. They learn that there are no such things as ghosts and to face their fears. I really enjoyed this book. If you like mysteries and a godly lesson, you will like this book.
