If you have ever had even the most cursory interest in Persian classical music; buy this album. Lofti has distilled the very essence of sufism into a musical form and this is most definitely the performance to hear.

I'm a musician myself and I found this music very pure and yet powerful. I'm a big fan of Ostad Lotfi. I've never had a chance to meet him in person but I hope I will have the pleasure of meeting him someday.
