Tim Warner has been pastoring Oasis Christian Church, in Tampa, Florida since 2006. His video sermons and mp3 audio sermons are downloaded over 1000 times weekly. In his spare time, he writes articles and books on various theological issues.
Tim is the founder of the Pristine Faith Restoration Society (www.pfrs.org). The society seeks to interpret Scripture through the use of sound hermeneutics, and trace various theological views back to their source through the study of the early Christian writings. He also has an extensive website devoted to the earliest Christian eschatology known as "Chiliasm." (www.answersinrevelation.org). The website contains a new translation of Revelation with extensive commentary notes, an in-depth audio class on the whole book of Revelation, written debates, video of a live debate against an amillennialist minister, and many articles on all aspects of end-time prophecy. He is considered one of the leading internet voices for the post-tribulation, historic-premillennial view of Christ's second coming.
As a student of the Bible for over 35 years, his studies have been primarily in biblical hermeneutics, biblical Greek, early Church history, eschatology, biblical astronomy, and biblical chronology. He is also in the process of translating the New Testament (Last Generation Version) with a special emphasis in the commentary notes on the end-times. Several books of the New Testament have been completed, and are available free in pdf format on the Answers in Revelation site.
The zodiac ("mazzaroth" in Hebrew) has long been associated with the New Age movement, Mystery Religions, and the Occult. For centuries, astrologers and soothsayers have used the positioning of the stars to prognosticate everything from personal fortunes to the rise and fall of kingdoms. Because of these deeply rooted pagan traditions, as well as the biblical injunctions not to use the signs in the heavens for worship or divination (Deut. 4:19 & 18:10-14), most conservative Christians have simply avoided the zodiac altogether. However, a handful of individuals over the centuries (such as Joseph A. Seiss, E. W. Bullinger and Dr. James Kennedy) have attempted to connect the constellations with the Christian Gospel. While I believe their premise that God was the creator of the zodiac was correct, their overall conclusions seemed forced and unconvincing, in my personal opinion. "Mystery of the Mazzaroth" presents a fresh and remarkably compelling new theory about how to interpret this ancient riddle in the night sky. Unlike those who have approached this subject in the past, Tim Warner does not interpret the signs in a disjointed or random fashion. Rather, his approach is much more natural and systematic. All twelve signs from Virgo to Leo, in order, come together to form an amazing prophetic picture; the history of God's people and His plan of redemption for the world. This book is full of Scripture references, historical quotations, and color illustrations. It will edify Christians and challenge atheists and skeptics. Highly recommended!
"Mystery of the Mazzaroth; Prophecy in the Zodiac" is truly momentous, even earth-shaking. Most Christians believe the Zodiac is a pagan, or even Satanic, construct. Many other Christians have suspected that the Zodiac may have originally contained some aspect of the Story of Redemption, but are unsure how it fits with Biblical revelation or how it became corrupted. Most are afraid that any inquiry into the Zodiac and its origin would be unwise and could lead to deception. Tim Warner turns on the light for us.
Before the first chapter of humanity's history had been acted out, God wrote across the heavens, for all generations to read, the precise prophetic sequence of events involved in the redemption and restoration of His people from sin and the curse. This prophetic sequence encompasses both the Old and New Testaments. The sequence of events in the stars agrees exactly with the sequence in Holy Scripture.
The explanations presented by Warner are unique, appearing in no other works on this topic. They are not just another rehashing of previous theories but are the fruit of meticulous original research into ancient source materials combined with deep Biblical and spiritual insight. The research is extensively documented, yet the results are presented in plain, readable language. This book left me marveling at God's great wisdom, knowledge, faithfulness, compassion, and sovereignty.
I highly recommend this book for Christians, Jews, Skeptics, and anyone else searching for absolute truth. It contains powerful challenges for all professing Christians, whether Dispensationalist, Reformed, Catholic or Orthodox. It explains with crystal clarity exactly how God's promises to His people through the Hebrew prophets will certainly be fulfilled. It positively answers the skeptics' doubts. Read it. But be warned! This book's conclusion is inescapable and will require you to make a choice.
Tim Warner has provided truly unique and valuable insight into the zodiac. While others have seen elements of Christianity in the constellations, Warner shows a clear connection between God's eternal plan of redemption and the message of the zodiac. Beginning with Abraham and the constellation Virgo and culminating in the climactic return of Christ and the constellation Leo, the zodiac has declared (and continues to declare) this plan to all who gaze upon the heavens.
Mystery of the Mazzaroth is well written and well organized, including a full chapter devoted to each of the twelve zodiac constellations. The work also includes numerous drawings, photographs, and star charts to enhance the reader's experience. For those inclined to dig deep, Warner's extensive biblical and historical research is fully annotated, including literally hundreds of footnotes.
I approached this work with skepticism, but found it to be both compelling and challenging. Warner is a highly capable writer, researcher, and student of the Bible. I encourage all to read Mystery of the Mazzaroth. It will increase your appreciation for God's eternal plan. It will strengthen your confidence in the reliability of the Bible. And it will stir a passion for the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. You won't be disappointed.
I highly recommend Mystery of the Mazzaroth!

Other favorable reviewers have said it well. I received this book today and couldn't put it down until I finished. It is right on target! How important it is for us to understand the message of the heavens. We have allowed our fear of astrology to steal from us our most valuable second witness to the Scriptures. This is the best documented resource available. Don't hesitate to buy it! It would make a great group study.
