Of course the MST3k guys can only do a great job with a movie that is actually some strung-together episodes of a really bad TV series. To make it even more fun, the 'movie' features the guy who played Sergeant Schultz on 'Hogan's Heroes,' a decent selection of bad special effect shots, a somehwat creepy baby, and is the origin of all future MST jokes regarding an actor's 'area.' The host segments include Tom and Crow trying to court Gypsy with a 1920s-style love song, complete with ukuleles and a canoe. The song starts out nice enough, but Joel has to stop it before it degenerates into something entirely inappropriate. The riffs cover topics as varied as Gilligan's Island, Young Dr. Frankenstein, This Is Spinal Tap, and Shakespeare. Enjoy!

As a fan of this old TV show, I was most interested in seeing it lampooned. The MST3K crew is entertaining as always, it's just not their best work. My favorite joke- sending a "John Banner-gram" (complete with an actor John Banner look-alike) (John Banner played Sargent Sholtz on HOGANS HEROES.) Would I watch it again? Sure!

Trying to rate MST3K is sort of an exercise in futility. By the shows very nature, the movie is going to be bad.I guess you would have to rate the riffs that Mike, Joel, and the Bots make to really be fair. On that note, this is a pretty good outing. I wouldn't call it a stand out episode, but that's just my opinion. Basically, if you've seen any episode of MST3K and liked it, you'll probably enjoy this one as well. Give it a shot, if it doesn't work for you, try another. Eventually you'll hit comedy pay dirt, as the majority of the available episodes are pretty good.

This is one of the better MST3K episodes! Very funny! And even though the involved sci-fi movie was rather lackluster, it was still better than Avatar!

While not as good as some of the movies Joel and the bots have watched, this one is still worth seeing.

This movie is clear and easy to watch. The movie itself is a typical MST3K movie and very good. It comes in clear and there was only one time it stopped to "reload".

A strong episode of MST3K! This is the one of the 'Rocky Jones' episodes and a fun one. Definitely worth checking out.

We MST3K lovers know that the humor sort of ebbs and flows, it's razor sharp for awhile and then "meh" for awhile. But I laughed from start to finish on this one, laughed to the point where it hurt.
