The dark little drama is just deep enough that the movie doesn't completely fade into the background, the riffing is pretty good all around. This is one of the better episodes. A lot of good jokes and the movie has a lot of good moments to riff on.

This is an above average Joel era episode featuring an early 60's, C-grade rip-off of "The Wild One" except instead of ultra-cool bikers we get two train-hopping hobo's Joel and the bots affectionately label "Big Stupid" and "Sex Poodle". He's a street-wise (or maybe train-wise?) paragon of self-reliance and boring virtue who takes a wimpy little runaway named Danny (a.k.a. "shut up danny") under his "oily drifter" wing and together they crash a quaint, little town by doing... not much of anything. The duo provides tons of raw material for riffing and I found it to be consistently funny from beginning to end (special emphasis on the skit where Joel and the bots sing a train song absolutely had me rolling) not to mention all the excellent Jack Elam gags topped off by Crow actually becoming Jack Elam towards the end.

Definitely worth a rent and I could even see myself adding this one to my permanent collection. :o)

One of the absolute funniest from the MST3K vaults. From beginning to end, it's non-stop laughs. Highly recommend this gem to all Mysties!
