One of best hidden object games for NDS,

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mystery Tales Time Travel (Video Game)
I don't write many reviews, but there are so many negative reviews of this game that I feel compelled to offer the opposing view. This is one of my 2 or 3 favorite hidden object games for the NDS.
Many of the complaints relate to the game being fairly short. I've found that's generally the case with hidden object games. Many can be completed in just a few hours. And if they take longer, it's just by seemingly endless repetition of the same locations with a few different objects. This one, I didn't find boring. I didn't feel like I went to the same locations over and over and over again. I also like a hidden object game that has a few "extras"...mini-games and the like. I liked the various puzzles (and even the "spells") in this one. Probably "MillionHeir" is still my favorite in this genre, but Mystery Tales: Time Travel is a close second. If you like hidden object games, and you know that they are relatively short (you'll never get the hours of gameplay out of a hidden object game that you will out of an RPG, for example), then you might want to give this one a try. I'm certainly glad I got it.

Don't waste your money!,
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mystery Tales Time Travel (Video Game)
This is one of the worst hidden mystery games I've played--and I've played most of them. I started it once and became so frustrated because the instructions were so confusing that I put it away after about he third board. A couple of weeks later I took it out again and started over thinking I must have missed something, and found it just as frustrating and confusing. Compared to all the other hidden mystery games I've played, this has to be the worst. Don't waste your money even on a used one.
