I received this CD as a gift and loved. I am always on the lookout for soothing natural sounds for meditation and gentle ambiance for company. This recording fits the bill perfectly.

I have listened to this album twice. Each time, it put me into a deeply relaxed trance state, then to a sleep in which I experienced vivid and meaningful dreams. If you are looking for meditation music, look no further. This sound authentically delivers what synthesized new-agey stuff can't: Truth.

I discovered this CD while searching for Tibetan sounds in the Album section of the Hearts of Space website [...]). Now I own the CD, and it is my current favorite.

To say that it is relaxing, it is true, yet - - is not enough. And, yes, it is wonderful for meditation.

It seems, to me, to be an invitation to go deeper within, and the earthy depths of sound that comes from the bowls satisfies that part of me that craves spiritual adventure. Temple Sounds has brought us something special, and is both simple and complex. I recommend it highly.

I thought this CD was so relaxing, that I felt that I was in my own Temple in Nepal amongst monks that were also enjoying the mystic journey that this great CD offers . My great thanks to the wonderful artists that put this beautiful "Bowl" music together, along with great art layout of the CD that rounds out the full experience of this temple music! I highly recommend it for those nights to unwind and escape!

I am in Shangri-la every time I hear this recording! It is beautiful, and I go to sleep to it every night. My only regret is that I often do not get to hear the end because I am asleep before then. Soft, shimmering, tranquil-- everything that our modern existence usually is not-- it transports me into another world. There is not a single note of discord in it. I considered buying another album using Tibetan bowls but was disturbed when I heard the sample selections because there were discordant, wierd "New Age" elements of modern music piercing it. I am happy to say that there is none of this sort of thing in this album. It is nothing but the bowls, played by an expert hand, and that is just what I wanted. I'm sure that those seeking a background for meditation, rather than sleep would find it helpful too-- it does not put me to sleep because it is boring, but because it is so peaceful.

I have been playing this CD in the clinic for many years now, and its really a gem.
The patients love it, and so do I, as it promotes relaxation, gentle breathing and a
calm mind. As ambient music for a clinic, it is superb. For home use, contemplative,
and meditation music, very wonderful, also. The resonance of the bowls feels healing
as well as relaxing. It is one of my favorite healing CDs.
