Good game, and almost unheard?
Really this is a hidden gem in the world of the Sega Genesis! Great graphics, and I swear it has twice as much color variations as games today! Its kind of part adventure, part shooter, and part strategy at times! Really this is a hidden gem in the world of the Sega Genesis! Great graphics, and I swear it has twice as much color variations as games today! Its kind of part adventure, part shooter, and part strategy at times! The music is really cheesy but also really catchy and at times it meshes perfectly with the enemies and worlds you travel through!I'm still a little shocked that I could find this game on Amazon, I think I've only seen it once and that was in this dark shady movie rental place that had 60% B-movies, it was a weird little store but it had some unique games in it like this one!

Well what can I say, i have my Genises for a long time now and I really couldn't beleive I'd never played this game before. Mystic Defender is a game that in its time(when Geises was still top)it had to have been an awesome game. Nobody ever mention it or ever really knew about it. One day however my siter bought a copy of it and I was instantly hooked. The stryline of the game is about a young, but powerful magic user on a quest to save his princess Alexendria from the evil Zoafth who'strying to reserect a very powerful monster. You go through 8 massive levels with excellent graphics, very cool sound/effects, and intense gameplay. If you are an intense Sega player you definently need to pic up this 5 STARS* game.
