Hysterical! My kids and friends loved them!,

My children are young (under 5) and they are really INTO Christmas this year. Rudolph is a special favorite and they were thrilled when we put the reindeer ears and red nose on our station wagon. We got lots of smiles and compliments from people -- in parking lots, at school, at playdates, etc.
Fun, fun, fun!

I have wanted one of these reindeer kits for a couple of years and was thrilled to find one on Amazon.com this past Christmas. It is the cutest thing, reasonably priced, seems to be of good quality, and held up well (I drive 60-70 miles/day, mostly interstate). I got lots of compliments on it. I was a little concerned about how the fur material would hold up to rain/snow but I solved that by wrapping plastic around the nose. I used a clear plastic produce bag (knotted and tied with twist tie) and it worked perfectly-it wasn't visible unless you walked right up to it, and the plastic bag was still intact when I took the nose off. The antlers I just took off on the days it rained. I am thrilled with this kit and can't wait to use it again when the holidays come around!

Beware if you get on interstate,
This review is from: Mystic Industries Reindeer Vehicle Costume (Automotive)
My wife received a set of these to put on her expedition. The first trip on the interstate driving 70mph one of the antlers blew off the post and I saw it laying in the middle of the road in the rear view. We pulled over to remove the other before it blew off as well. There is nothing that holds the antler on and it just slides over a smooth plastic shaft. My wife wants another set...so...I'm going to ziptie the thing tighter to the shaft or glue it or something.

Very cute item, that got lots of attention from kids and adults alike. We only saw 1 or 2 other cars with similar items in our large city, so this is not the type of product you should purchase if you don't want people staring at you and your car.
The only critique is that the antlers fell off too easily. There are times when you need to roll your window down (drive through at the post office or fast food, drive through ATM, toll booths, etc.). We lost an antler a few times. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve it pretty easily each time. I eventually developed the ability to grab the antler as soon as I started rolling the window down to prevent it from falling off. Seems to me that the antler could fit a little tighter.

I got my "rendeer vehicle costume" last night. It looks different from advertized picture, much poor quality. I was very dissapointed to get this product.

Pretty much the cutest thing you can put on your car for Christmas. We have 3 cars, and it looks great on all of them. Made well and withstood a sudden rain storm without causing windows to leak or getting ruined. The only downside I have found is that you can't roll down the window that the antlers are on. They don't grip the glass tight enough to hold on at speed, so if you want to go windows down, you'll have to put them on the rear windows. This is only a problem if you have a 2 door like me... Otherwise, I love them.

I get comments at the bank (especially in the drive-thru), the post office, the Sonic and everywhere I go. I think this looks better on a smaller car, though. My dark brown Kia Sportage is just perfect for it. I know that someone said the antlers wouldn't stay on, but I haven't had any problem with that as long as I don't roll the window all the way down. If I stop about 2 1/2 or 3 inches up, it all stays in place. And I think that if you were driving pretty fast (like on the freeway or highway) and rolled the window down partly, you might have trouble keeping the antler on the car. I never drive fast with the window down (uses more gas) so it's not been a problem for me. Other than that, it's a fun way to "decorate" for Christmas!

My husband has been Santa (no padding or fake beard required) for 26 years. When he received these as an early Christmas present he was delighted. When he visits the children and their familes he arrives in full Santa dress and the antlers and red nose complete the picture. He has visited children and their families on military bases and the MP's that check him through security get a chuckle out of Santa and his Reindeer Van. The only complaint is that he has to remove the antlers if he wants to go over 40 mph

Adorning my car with these decorations make my daughter smile from ear to ear. She's so proud that our car has the Rudolph decorations, that it makes MY day. Crazy easy to attach, well worth it!
