This review is from: Mystical Diets: Paranormal, Spiritual, and Occult Nutrition Practices (Consumer Health Library) (Hardcover)
Ok so this book says the TM movement was bogus, SunRider Products are a sham, Food Combining was disproved in the 1930's yet we still hear about it (Fit for Life, Anthony Robbins Nutrition CDs) Detoxification - that's B.S. too - your colon and mine are pretty clean no matter what we do so skip the enemas, and if you're sick, you're probably sick, it's not your body detox'n, go get some drugs that'll make you feel better and in 10 days it'll be gone. Bottom line is we want to feel like we can make a difference or make outselves younger - you can't do it, there's 5 reason why we die, only 2 we can do anything about - nutrition & exercise. Bottom line on this book is eat good wholesome food (yep - the food pyramid works still) and exercise but don't do anything in the extreme as it won't make any difference.
