Majestic and exotic, June 22, 2000

'An unusual, diverse first release by Aionios. There are some catchy tunes here, namely 'Lord of Heaven and Earth' and 'A Spititual Body', but the album's trademarks are definately the last three long instrumentals: 'Agony on Earth' is the most awesome song of the CD. Then comes 'Bamboo House in the Night' a majestic and exotic sounding song, followed by 'Between Two Galaxies', a very meditational, outwordly tune. AME certainly does not conform to the musts and must nots of the mainstream music. It seems to move in a different time. In fact, time seemed to dissolve from the moment I placed this CD on my CD player. I think that this music is meant to be experienced rather than analyzed. AME is not perfect, but I give it five stars for its unique, extremely evocative feeling. Enjoy!'
