5.0 out of 5 stars Love it or hate it
It was clear from the beginning that this book would be either a "love it or hate it" type book. I greatly value Sylvia's constant stance that either it's for you or it's not, and if it's not that is quite alright. This is not like her other books that give a wealth of information. This book is specifically about a special calling and I would probably not recommend it to...

3.0 out of 5 stars A little of the same but I love Sylvia Browne!
This book is an easy read at times. But when I wanted to learn which was my path or theme in life, I had to pick from 47 and I could have easily been several of them. I love and miss Sylvia Browne who used to frequent the Montel Williams Talk show for 17 years. She made my Wednesdays a little better and it's a shame that she's not on television like she used to be...

It was clear from the beginning that this book would be either a "love it or hate it" type book. I greatly value Sylvia's constant stance that either it's for you or it's not, and if it's not that is quite alright. This is not like her other books that give a wealth of information. This book is specifically about a special calling and I would probably not recommend it to just anyone. However, if you've long felt the need to make the world a better place, but don't quite know how, you should get this book. It might answer that internal question.

I greatly enjoyed the book, and I'll keep this in my personal library forever, unless I recognize someone else who needs to read it. Then I'll give it up reluctantly. Sylvia states many times that if you aren't drawn to do what the book is about, that is okay! You could tell she was very concerned and very careful to make that point, that no one is better than another based on the topic of this book and what it is truly about.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Life Changing Book, November 18, 2008

This review is from: Mystical Traveler: How to Advance to a Higher Level of Spirituality (Hardcover)
Sylvia Browne has been a life changing author for me for many years. This book takes your Spirituality to another level and may not be for everyone. For me, it came just when I needed it and I am now working even harder to become more. More patient, kinder, more of the kind of human being I should be and more aware that I am here on Earth to improve myself and help others.

I love all of Sylvia's books and this one is no exception. The information is quite remarkable and makes me know there is always more to learn and more levels to climb in the quest for spirituality.....I love to do the meditations she suggests and I always feel so warm and peaceful afterward. Whether or not a person decides to take the oath at the end of the book to become a mystical traveler there is still so much in the book to keep you interested.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enilightened, October 11, 2008
This review is from: Mystical Traveler: How to Advance to a Higher Level of Spirituality (Hardcover)
This has been one of her most informative books that I've read of so far. It not only explains the details of what a Mystical Traveler is, but she also touches on some of the inconsistanies of the Bible, based on her extensive research in the history of religions. I always learn something from Sylivia's books, along with being entertained and this book is no exception. I also know an individual that fits most of her description of the Mystical Traveler, and have developed a better appreciation for his excentricities.

4.0 out of 5 stars For Sylvia Browne Fans Only, November 2, 2009

This book would not be of interest to people unless they were familiar with Sylvia Browne's previous works. It would be a little deep and hard to understand.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little of the same but I love Sylvia Browne!, August 4, 2010
This book is an easy read at times. But when I wanted to learn which was my path or theme in life, I had to pick from 47 and I could have easily been several of them. I love and miss Sylvia Browne who used to frequent the Montel Williams Talk show for 17 years. She made my Wednesdays a little better and it's a shame that she's not on television like she used to be. Anyway, this book helps understand the mystical traveler.

The mystical traveler is somebody who is complicated and is here to help. She hinted at the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, and others in this field. She writes about Jesus Christ of course. Despite some bitterness in the end of her book, she addresses her critics who are skeptics bent on destroying her credibility. I don't give the skeptics any credence at all.

While Sylvia Browne may get it wrong once in a while, she does get a lot right. I do feel we are at the end times but not because we are moving in the right direction but because we are moving in the wrong direction. I also feel that she forgets the grey entities while addresses Black and White Entities in her book. There is always a grey area between the two.

While I disagree with Sylvia, you are allowed too. She wants you to ask questions and demand answers. This book is a great and easy read for Sylvia Browne readers. I'll have to check up on my mystical traveler state. I do feel like a mystical traveler at times. Maybe that's why I feel so isolated from the norm. Sometimes, it would be fun to be normal but I can't imagine my life without my creativity, imagination, or desire to make the world a better place than when I leave it.

Sometimes, I'm ready to go to the other side tomorrow and I'm not ready yet because there are things that I have left to do. Sometimes, I wished Sylvia would just give us the answers but then it wouldn't be any fun in life if we knew everything.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mystical traveler by Sylvia Browne, October 22, 2008
By
This review is from: Mystical Traveler: How to Advance to a Higher Level of Spirituality (Hardcover)
I was hesitant in buying this book, but, I was pleasantly surprised. She was very repetitive in all of her other books. This one was handled with originality. I have given away two of the books to friends.
Sincerely,
Charleene Deaver
