Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Hardcover
This book contains excellent background material regarding certain details of the Old Testament. Some of the background involves how certain passages relate to Pagan ideas of the region around Israel. But other background information dealt with the history of various Biblical practices. For casual reading or a reference, it is quite interesting and provides a much greater awareness of the Bible. Historians, religion students and anyone seeking deeper understandings of God will appreciate this book.
