5.0 out of 5 stars Women: Depend on Yourselves!, November 1, 2010

Very open, honest and right on. This book tells it all and teaches women to have faith and belief in themselves. The era from the Last Age of Innocence (the fifties) to the present including the transformation of women's roles and lives created the best and worst of times for our gender. Our mission is to learn to balance both eras with always being true to ourselves. Great book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A real life happening and great insight to a womens world., August 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Myth of the Maiden: On Being a Woman (Paperback)
Women want to be treated like a princess but the real world is not as we wish nor how we were lead to believe by our parents. Life in not a fairy tale, the author makes this very clear in this book.
