i love this book! i color a lot, (especially for someone my age,) because it relaxes me. when i get a book that has interesting pictures that are well drawn, i love it! awesome book for the older "artist."

The captions at the bottoms of every page describe the beasts and what they are known for. There are all kinds of things in here from Chinese Dragons to Mermaids to Sphinx. The pictures are well detailed.

Great illustrations, as are all of the Dover coloring books. We've learned a lot from the captions in this one too! My kindergartener loves this and has been busily coloring for the past several days.
