5.0 out of 5 stars Well, it's actually called "Mythmaking" not "Myth Makers"
Regardless of what the title is, this is a great book. A detailed record of the creation of Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones, this book is filled with facts, photos and more. As with the Making of Phantom Menace book, this volume is once again compiled and written by Jody Duncan. There have been vast improvements in the last 3 years, and it shows. This book is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as I hoped
I was expecting something like "Star Wars: The Magic of Myth" for Attack of the Clones. It's nothing like that. There's no explination behind the story, mostly it just tells how the movie was made. There's tons of pictures but it is poorly organized and every page sings the praises of digital 'magic'. No depth to it at all.

As with the Making of Phantom Menace book, this volume is once again compiled and written by Jody Duncan. There have been vast improvements in the last 3 years, and it shows. This book is much more thought out than the Making of Phantom Menace, and features many more photos, anecdotes and is all around more personable and enjoyable. Highly reccomended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good To Own, March 5, 2003

Star Wars Mythmaking really doesn't live up to it's name with its contents. It alludes to similar content as in seen and read in Star Wars: Mafic of the Myth. However, this book is about the filming process of Attack of the Clones.

Fans who loved Attack of the Clones and are in dire need of lesser known facts will rejoice in knowing this book covers them. Filimg dates, cut scenes, costumes, props and other facts are all covered.

The book is similar to the TPM Behind the scenes but with less details and more photos.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent and informative Making Of... book., July 27, 2005

This review is from: Mythmaking: Behind the Scenes of Star Wars: Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (Hardcover)
I really enjoyed this book. I tried Border's out of print service but the copy the dilvered was more expensive, in mutilated condition, and didn't even have the dustjacket. Needless to say, Amazon will be getting all my future out of print business.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very satisfying, June 5, 2005
I enjoy books about how movies are made and Mythmaking: Behind the Scenes of Star Wars: Episode 2: Attack of the Clones is very satisfying. It tells roughly day by day the story of how George Lucas and his merry bad of special effects wizards made the movie. It also breaks out into detailed sections on particular days. You get to see how 2 year old Jedi's are trained, how the actress playing Naboo's queen was cast and how the actor playing Jango Fett was discovered.

This is a very entertaining book and if you're a Star Wars fan that wants to know how it was all done you'll want this for your collection.
