This review is from: Myths and Legends Explained (Annotated Guides) (Hardcover)
I am hooked on myths, fables, and legends. Stories and myths pre-date language and have been revealed on the walls of caves. We are seemingly hard wired for these myths which deal with our lives and our deaths. Every one of us is a story. The themes of these myths and legends are universal. They are the stories of many cultures from many years ago, but they are about us, here and now. This is a beautiful book that is rich in content and illustration. Highly recommended.

Where are Jesus and Christianity?,
By Aritza (Massachusetts, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Myths and Legends Explained (Annotated Guides) (Hardcover)
It looks like a nice book, but the word Jesus is not mentioned in the whole book (I know, I did a search). Aren't Jesus and Christianity a myth too? The myths are classified by culture: Egypt, Sumeria, Iran, etc. Not a word of Jewish myths, such as as the ones that Christianity is based on, the biggest and the most widespread myth in the world today. Come on! How can this be a serious book? It mentions the Holy Grail myth, but the implication is that Christianity itself is not a myth. This is not serious.
