Senior Third Engineer Charles Drought, of Saughall Massie, remembers the dramatic events leading up to the sinking of the 'Atlantic Conveyor' by an Argentinean Exocet Missile and the full horror of the blazing inferno on board and the subsequent plight of the survivors to stay alive in the life rafts. Their rescue by HMS Alacrity is well documented and there are over 50 photographs of vessels and personnel involved in the Falklands conflict.
