TnT Steps Up; finally.,
By
This review is from: N of Tha World (Audio CD)
I recommend this album as being a solid comeback after their last effort, which as horrible. But there were reasons for that.
Finally TnT steps up and fills Mastaminds shoes. Hell, I didn't even miss Mastamind. And I like MMind. Not as brutal as it could've been, but it was good fun. I recommend it.

Natas is BACK!,
This review is from: N of Tha World (Audio CD)
At first I was very excited to hear that Natas was coming out with another album. But when I bought it I realized that 1/3 of Natas Mastamind was only on 1 song. Even with that this album was very good. The best songs on this cd are Worlds Apart, Full of Hate, On My Own, and N of tha World. I recommend that you buy this CD. Also does anyone know if these songs were recorded in the different countries as the CD booklet indicates.

REST IN PEACE OR REST IN PISS,
By Carlos Corona "Carlos" (Cincinatti, OH) - See all my reviews
This review is from: N of Tha World (Audio CD)
This new joint from Natas is probably one of the undergrounds most anticipated projects in the past few years and without question it bangs hard!! The production is pure ACID w/great live instrumentation and guitars not to mention a whole new take on sampling which makes for one hell of a ride. Nobody but Esham can produce a record like this. It took over four years for them to come back together but it was well worth the wait.
Long time Natas fans will miss og group member Mastamind who chose to leave the group to go solo and you'll find subliminal disses throughout the record. Not for the faint of heart. Lyrically, Esham is back to his ferocious and brutally honest ways and his new persona "Black Hitler" is exactly the type of sickness that has earned him his in place as one of hip hops most demented characters. Each track has Esham experimenting with different flows and rhyme patterns so the sound is never redundant. TNT in particular has always been the one w/the irreplaceable vocals but he's been stepping up his lyrics in the past few years and on N of tha World, i thought he really shined. So much in fact that his first and long overdue solo album "Suicide Bomber" is droppin this year on Gothom. Nobody puts it down harder for the east side of Detroit than TNT. So when you buy this album, don't go in looking for your average hip hop album about all the same unoriginal content that your average joe emcee is wasting everyones time rhyming about. This album is LIQUIDDRANO with a nasty combination of heavy metal beats and soulful hip hop designed to desintegrate peoples perception of what hip hop really is and this album doesn't dissapoint. Much props to long time Natas extended fam Moebadis who rips on "Trouble & Pain". make sure 2 check out the new site www.nofthaworld.com to read up on probably the hardest group hip hop has ever seen.

Esham Shines,Natas is indeed back,

Minus Mastamind of course, this new album from Natas is so hot it will melt your stereo. Esham shines brighter then the sun and crafts highly intelligent and fluent rhymes, i walked into the record store looking for Multikillionaire or WWW.Com and found this was the only album they currently had by Natas. This album was on my to get list so i grabbed it with the quickness. After bumping a bit of it in the car it rumbled and shook the parking lot, in my stereo it sounds great not on par with the only other Natas album i own Doubelievengod, but still worthy to add to your collection for Juggalos and Sucidalists alike.

It's not WWW.com, but it's still an excellent cd,

To many peoples surprise, NATAS got back together for a new full length. It may be disappointing for a lot of long-time fans to see that Mastaminds involvement is minimal, I'm guessing due to his current record deal and other projects, it didn't bother me too much because he, in my opinion, was never the strong point of NATAS. The main thing I love about this cd is that it doesn't sound like any of their previous efforts, this group has always been known for experimenting and innovative, so to here them try and re-produce another past effort would not satisfy me. Esham definitely put a lot of heart into this album which I feel he definitely put more effort into this than his past 2 solo efforts. The cd does have a lot of beats laced with guitars, done tastefully. This is some of his best lyrical content in quite some time I might add. From the current social/political climate, to the demise of morals in our modern day society, to battling personal demons.. Esham and TNT both have matured as rappers and it's cool to see them still on the grind. They are far from washed up, they are under rated and under appreciated if anything, I just hope this isn't the last album from the trio.

New natas m***** f*****s. Forget about the people hating cos mastamind is only on one track. Stop crying quit hating and be glad theres a new natas. The record is dope from start to finshin with the exception of a few tracks, such as worlds apart and pankakes and syrup witch i could do without. Anyway its worth buying and bumping you wont be disapointed. And if you never heard natas give it a try and some of the older stuff. Natas still bringin the bangers.

"I Wouldn't Go To Sleep, Cause It's the End of Tha World!",
By
This review is from: N of Tha World (Audio CD)
Natas (rap trio consisting of long-time Detroit legend Esham, Mastamind, and TNT) are finally back with their first album since "Godlike". Their past releases include "Doubelievengod", "Life After Death", "[..] (Wicket World Wide)", "Multikillionaire: The Devil's Contract", "Blaz4me", and "Godlike". It's safe to say that Natas's new one does not disappoint at all. They're known for fusing hardcore rhymes and rock beats together to create a sound that Esham made himself: acid rap. Other reviewers have said it best. Both Esham and TNT shine on this record. Minus just one or two tracks, this album has good track after good track on it. Just what you come to expect from Esham and Natas.
The only real complaint that has come from many fans is the fact that Mastamind only appears on one cut, because he's decided to go solo (surprisingly enough he still appears in the booklet like he contributed alot to the album). This isn't a problem for Esham and TNT come through and Mastamind's absence doesn't make a difference. The opening track "Once Upon a Time" is a banger. Tracks like "Dead Men Don't Sing" and "Full of Hate" and "See You In Hell" have those wicked rhymes that Natas is known for and aren't for pop fans. "World's Apart" is rather weak for the first few lines, but it grew on me and now I listen to it everytime I play the album. It's even funny in a way, as some lyrics in the song go "Hold on baby you know I love you, put that gun down let me hug you, let me tell you that's not even the case, then you slap me in my face!" "Nightmares" is an A+ track with a nice chorus and good lyrics, which even get a little political in the third verse, "I had a nightmare the devil made me part of his plan, put me in the Constitution I'm 3/5th's of a man" (referring to the 3/5th Compromise, which made African-Americans count as 3/5th's of a person in society). "On My Own" is a laidback track all about getting on your grind and getting things right for yourself and not worrying about everyone else. The chorus sounds kind of weak at first, but it's another one of those that grow on you the more you listen. "N of Tha World" is a nice track about drugs, street life and bad things that happen in the world. It's got great lyrics and a really good chorus. TNT holds it down well on "Crazy Town", which also has a crazy beat and a good sample for the chorus. "N*ggaz Always Talkin Alot of $hit" has a good beat and Esham and TNT rap in hushed-sounding voices. Makes for a decent listen. "Why You Gotta Lie" is an ok way to end the album. It has a NICE rock beat to it (which they sampled "Walk This Way"). It's about everyone in the world that lie about everything (if you couldn't tell from the title of the cut). The first track that I felt like skipping was "Pancakes & Syrup". The album would've been better without it. The chorus is kind of annoying. Another mediocre cut is "Trouble and Pain". While not exactly a bad song, the verse by Moe Baddis is very weak. The chorus makes me cringe by the way dude says "trouble and pain" (when you hear the song you'll know what I'm talking about). However, the rest of the song is good, if you can get past those two drawbacks. The only other song is the simply titled "?". I don't know if it's supposed to be a hidden track, since it's not listed on the Amazon tracklist, and in the booklet they give it no credits. However, it doesn't do much for the album, even though the beat is cool.Besides these three songs, the album is great. This should not disappoint Esham and Natas fans. Don't worry about Mastamind, TNT and Esham hold it down, trust me. Esham continues to add on to his underground legacy. He was in control of most of the album; producing every track and also being the executive producer. Almost all the beats are great, and of course the lyrics are on point for most of the album. It's a great return for Natas. Also look out for TNT's long awaited solo album, entitled "Suicide Bomber". I don't know exactly when it's supposed to drop (or if it seriously ever will). But when it does, pick that up as well as this. Go ahead and pick this up anyway if you're an Esham or Natas fan, or if you just like hardcore rhymes. The album also doesn't overflow with tracks, as it has 16 minus an intro, so really that's only 15 tracks, and it's only about an hour long so you're not getting twenty extra minutes of filler. Almost all of these tracks are good, so it's well worth your money. Go out and buy it.
