Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

This is a 2-way radio made for helmet users like motorcyclists and snowmobilers. It offers not only driver-to-driver communications, but also offers a driver-to-passenger intercom. With fourteen FRS channels and thirty-eight sub-channels you can maintain a private conversation up to two miles away. Cycle-to-cycle communication can be either push-to-talk (using either the PTT control on the unit or the external handle-bar mount button) or automatic voice-activated (with low or high VOX sensitivity select). NADY's special VOX system reduces the possibility of false triggering into transmission mode while receiving messages, plus it eliminates sidetone during reception, improving intelligibility. The radio also offers noise-canceling/wind-blocking headsets. You can use this radio on or off bike, as the radio is useable without a helmet system. The radio has a stereo input, allowing you to listen to CDs or radio. Other features include: backlit LCD screen, low battery alert, auto squelch, keypad lock, call button, auto power save, and a time-out timer.

What's in the Box
MRC-11 radio and a user's manual.
