NAILING HONEY TO A TREE ...Trying to Define Spirituality

Spirituality - is it given from a church /religion source?  - is it an essential human life force offered to all from the Universe (God)?  Big questions with heartfelt answers offered in this book of verse by my friend, John Chuchman.

John's forthright quest in search for Spirituality by asking key questions of himself encourages each of us to mirror the same search within ourselves. With wisdom, compassion, wit and grace, John creatively explores and expresses his vision of Spirituality, which like honey is sweet, sticky, gooey....but finger lickin' good.  John's words resonate with his readers from various faith backgrounds: Christian, Jewish, Shaman (Earth Based), Muslim, Hindu, Buddhism.  Why?  Because we are all human with the same basic need for Universal Love.  John has "hit the nail on the head" through these verses, which send vibrations of Spirituality into each reader's heart and soul. John's Christian Spirituality and my Earth Based Spirituality have much more in common than not.  These verses are a huge part of an exploding worldwide consciousness-raising now opening doors for humankind to SEE, FEEL and KNOW Spirituality without blinding restrictions from religious institutions. Thank you, John, for helping to take down the barriers between and among Faiths.  Keep journeying, questing, searching on the wings of Love toward the realization of SELF within.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nailing Honey to a Tree March 23, 2011
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This Book gives us something to help us deal with what's going on this world today. We need to take a fresh look at the organized religions, and find something that will bring us together instead of the separations the organized religions causes. I belong to the Church of "Now". I hope John continues to write about spirituality.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Lenten Read March 16, 2011

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
John Chuchman's newest book has become part of my morning prayer ritual during Lent. This is a beautiful book on spirituality and it has reassured and strengthened my faith even though we live with the unknowns and the mysteries. His words are gentle, accepting, and insightful.

Despite the title, I think John has nailed the honey to the tree.
