Excellent,

I'm very pleased with this Bible -- the size is literally pocket-sized, something you could keep easily in your jeans, and yet the type is easy to read. The translation (NASB) I find especially good; words of Jesus in red. This makes a great gift, as well as a great tool for anybody wanting to be in the Scriptures 24/7.

Small!,

This bible is really small! Truely pocket sized. The snap flap is great so it doesn't get wrecked carrying it around. But you do need really good eyesight because the writing is really small.

The size is perfect, the print is crisp and clear, and the zipper keeps it sealed up and safe. Pefect to take in your pocket on a walk or a sunset over the lake. Just be careful not lose it... like I have, twice... :-p

No Zipper Dudes! But a great handy Bible.,

I bought this based on a person's review in Amazon which said it was encased in a nice zippered pouch. It's not. He's getting it confused with Amazon item #0529101297, "Smallest Pocket Bible". I've purchased several of those (make great graduation or missionary gifts) for only about $3.00 more It's bascially the same Bible as this, but it comes fully encased in a zippered leather case. Travels better. It's NASB as well.

small, compact and light,

Perhaps one of the smallest, lightest Bibles I have ever owned - or seen. Because I have arthritis in my feet and my lower back and have to pack my purse lightly, this makes my life a lot easier. The downside is the small font - if you suffer from motion sickness or dizziness, read on car trips, train rides, and turbulant planes at your own risk. The print is clear, but a capital M still fits within 1/16th of an inch. But you win some, you lose some; I'm happy to finally own such a light, compact Bible, and an NASB to boot. As a seminary student, I've been told the NASB has the best English translation of the Old Testament.

This Bible is awesome. I have purchased for several friends. I have one almost a year old with lots of usage and holds up like new. Definately worth the money and will pay off in expanding God's eternal Kingdom.

Contrary to what the last review says, this Bible is not a King James Version with a snap flap. It is a nice looking black bonded-leather NASB. Does not snap closed, which is alright because people need to keep their Bibles open.

This is nicely made but the font is SO small that I can't read it even with my glasses on.

I bought this a while back. Size-wise, it's perfect! It was more portable than I thought. But the font just didn't cut it for me. It's good if you want to pull out some verses when you're talking with people or something, but not good if you want to use it as a portable bible to read while waiting for a bus or something. It's just hard to concentrate on such small print for longer periods of time. Otherwise, it's a very cute edition and does make a great gift for those who have just come to faith! I ended up giving it to my friend and she loved it!
