5.0 out of 5 stars Better Late Than Never --, March 18, 2009

This review is from: A NASCAR Holiday 2: Miracle Season\Season Of Dreams\Taking Control\The Natural (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is a winner! I really loved this book, especially the first and last stories, but the other two stand well on their own feet, too. They're each a great blend of NASCAR and romance, but even so, they each have their own subtle differences. Some stories emphasize the holiday more than others, and that's okay, too. (Makes it easier to read in March!)

Pamela Britton's *Miracle Season* is great because it tells of a dream abandoned temporarily, then rediscovered. Maggie Malone never thought she'd be accepting help for her non-existent love life from her barely teen-aged daughter, Brooke, but when driver Mike Morgan appears in their lives, sometimes it's a case of 'daughter knows best'! Love can indeed be lovelier, the second time around.

In *Season of Dreams* by Gina Wilkins, Tom Wyatt suddenly finds himself capping off a distastrous couple of racing seasons with the loss of his fiancée Melissa Hampton. Sometimes you don't know what you have until you lose it -- even temporarily.

Ellie Satterfield was totally astonished to find herself one-third owner of a NASCAR team, after the death of her beloved uncle Walter. Her mom also owns one-third. But it's the final third, owned by driver Aidan O'Keefe that'll drive her nuts in *Taking Control* by Ken Casper. Unknown to them both, he has a wild card in this game -- his daughter Annie.

Laughter is on nearly every page of *The Natural* by Abby Gaines. Danny Cruise wasn't really speeding when his truck hit a huge dog out in the middle of nowhere on a dark and snowy night. He couldn't just leave the creature there, but he found way more than he ever expected when he carried the dog into the animal clinic and the heart of Dr. Madison Beale.

Animals, kids, love, laughter--what more could a reader wish for? Top-notch, all the way!

4.0 out of 5 stars Four short stories in one book, March 4, 2008
This review is from: A NASCAR Holiday 2: Miracle Season\Season Of Dreams\Taking Control\The Natural (Mass Market Paperback)
All four authors in the book evidentally know their nascar material. I am a Nascar Fan and I like to read. Even though the characters are fictitious the terminology used in the stories were very accurate. Each story was just the right length. At the end of each story it gives you the next book each author will be writing and what time to expect it in the stores. I will be looking forward to each book.

4.0 out of 5 stars four superb yuletide contemporary romances, October 30, 2007
This review is from: A NASCAR Holiday 2: Miracle Season\Season Of Dreams\Taking Control\The Natural (Mass Market Paperback)
"Miracle Season" by Pamela Britton. Single mom Maggie has easily hidden her attraction to former NASCAR driver Mike Morgan by keeping her distance, but now they will work closely on a charity fundraiser.

"Season of Dreams" by Gina Wilkins. Once a NASCAR champion Tom has been in a three year slump much of it during the time he has dated Melissa. He wonders if she is a distraction as he finished seventeenth this year or as he is in his thirties his life mate.

"Taking Control" by Ken Casper. Ellie inherits a part-ownership of Satterfield Racing, but having no interest in the sport plans to sell; that is until she finds an interest when she meets her partner, driver Aiden.

"The Natural" by Abby Gaines. After NASCAR driver Danny runs over a dog, he takes the injured canine to veterinarian Madison.

These four superb yuletide contemporary romances are driven by NASCAR hunks and the women who take them for a spin around the track of love.
