I am very impressed with Nascar the game inside line. I think this game for the Wii is much improved over the 2011 version. The AI cars race you and it does give you a challenge on Champion mode. There are four different difficulty levels to make it fun for all. As you race in season mode you get offers from different sponsers to change the paint scheme of your car. You also recieve credits to spend on improvements. I've had some bugs, but not enough to make it not fun. One challenge froze on me and a few 2 or 3 times I have got stuck on pit lane (out of hundreds of times pitting). I would actually rate it 7/10.

It would have been 5 stars but there is no online play.

well, where to begin? This game is not worth the money if you already own ntg2011. I rented this game thinking that it would be better than 2011. 2011 had its share of glitches (ai cars shooting down the track because they spin out) and bad damage graphics. However, at least you can drive. The cars in 2011 are more realistic, although a bit outdated even when it was released. Inside line has more, up to date cars, but on the track they look like one of those arcade games in a restaurant. But turning, oh the turning; this is where inside line is worst. It is SO sensitive that i originally thought i could turn like on 2011 (a one quarter turn at points) and immediately spun out.

at least in inside line, you can use cars that you may like (such as danica patrick's #10 car) but they don't look very good anyways. My brother loves this game, but only because the damage is realistic so that he can really wreck some racecars.

If you like arcade racing games and crashing over and over again, this is for you; but if you like a more realistic racing experience on the wii, stick with 2011.

This is by far the best racing game that mimics the real thing. Others that I have played do not come close.

This game both simultaneously sucks and blows in unison. It has pros and cons, but that scale is tipped at around 20% vs.80%. Compared to the Nascar 2011 game, the conspicuous problems have been corrected, but it is only at the expense at opening a whole new set of problems with this game. The cars actually race you in a sensible manner in this one, drafting and pushing you like the real deal. They move when you check up on them, and sometimes you have to move when they check you. The addition of Fox commentators DW, Mike Joy and others gave an endearing welcome to the game. The tracks have been improved graphic transfer-wise. Adding the pit stop/pit road speed factor was good. Moving the information that flashes on screen (Go!) from dead center of your screen (right in the damn way) to the top was helpful.

The downfall: Game play. The steering is so ultra-sensitive (which you cannot change) that the car is next to impossible to control, even with every driver assist activated. I seriously turn the wheel 2 degrees, and the car spins out. One reviewer complained about the 2011 game and said you cannot roll through the corners, which I agreed with until now. This game you have to "peck" through the corners. Way too hard. Forget racing and strategically working through the field over 50 laps, my goal for the first week was to make it through a 10 lap race without bringing out the caution, or driving off the track. All the improvements to the other drivers are good, but only if the game allows you to race them! The easiest setting still couldn't correct the fact that the car cannot be controlled. And forget about taking the controller out of the wheel, that was like trying to steer a real car with vise grips.

This is not a sim. I have played NR2K3 since it first came out(and still do). When I purchased Inside Line for Wii, I didn't expect very much. I thought that the Xbox and Playstation versions would be pretty good, but I didn't think the Wii version would look as good as the screenshots. I am very pleased with this game. The graphics are very good, and when set on hard or champion the game is very challenging. Even though this is not a true sim like NR2K3 I would highly reccomend this game to beginners and sim players alike.
