4.0 out of 5 stars A piece of Nashville and Grand Ole Opry history, November 14, 2005

This review is from: NASHVILLE SOUND (DVD)
Although this is not a perfect production and editing job in anyway, this is a fine visual and sound of Nashville of the

late sixites. Nashville when it was king.

The performances are not to be believed. From Porter Wagonner, an early Dolly Parton doing "My Blue Ridge Mountain Boy," Blll Monroe, Roy Acuff, Jeannie C. Reilly, Loretta Lynn doing "To Make a Man," and "Don't Come Home a Drinkin," a little of whisperin Bill Anderson, Johnny Cash, etc.

It is worth the price for the pricelessness of it all.
