I felt like a little girl again!, December 16, 2008

I remember my parents playing these songs as a little girl during the christmas season. How my mom loved Bobby Capo and Daniel Santos! The CD brings back bittersweet memories of days gone by. My father, friends and relatives playing aguinaldos on their instruments, the singing and dancing. The spicy wonderful aromas coming from my mom's kitchen as she cooked our traditional holiday dinner; arroz con gandules, pasteles, pernil and all of our wonderful Puerto Rican dishes. As a little girl the anticipation and excitment of what Santa Claus was going to bring me! I can't get tired of this CD. Everytime I listen to these songs it brings tears to my eyes. If you grew up with aguinaldos then you will love this CD as much as I do! My only complaint is that there isn't more of these CD's!
