Better than the original
I've never had to charge this battery during a trip, or put the original battery back in because it was out of juice. I take hundreds of pictures every time I go somewhere, and this battery just keeps going and going. I've never had it go past half way charged, and I only charge it once a month or less. If you need a battery, don't waste your money on the more...

Battery is dead after 3 months of light use
We bought this as a replacement for the original battery which will only hold a charge for about 10 minutes. After 3 months of light use (less than 1000 pictures taken), this battery is dead. Putting it on the charger causes it to flash red then green continuously. The original battery that came with the camera lasted us 5 years.
