Batteries work OK if you use them frequently,

This review is from: 2x NB-4L Battery+Charger for CANON SD400 SD1000 750 TX1 (Electronics)
The charger works fine, and is probably alot cheaper than an OEM one. FYI the charger I got looks nothing like this but works fine and had a car adapter plug too, could be handy.
I bought it mostly for the batteries. This is where it gets a little more complicated... They are makred as being 1500mA, which is nearly double the OEM battery spec. In practice what you get depends on usage. First thing I did was charge the batteries and put one in the camera. Worked great. Took a few pics, all is good. Turned the camera off. A few days later, I went to use it. Batteries are DEAD. Swapped it with the other fully charged battery... oh it's dead too... hmm. Essentially they've worked great if used within a day or two. The issue has been that they didn't seem to hold a charge when not is use (internal discharge). For reference, the OEM battery would hold a charge for weeks without issue. So they'd be great for vacation where you'd charge them frequently, but not so much for random usage ("look what the kids are doing!" type moments). I was extremely frustrated by this the first week or so, as every time I tried to take a picture it was dead. I will say that after charging/using/discharging/recharging the batteries several times they seem to have gotten better, and now hold a charge for an acceptable period of time. Hopefuly that trend will continue. A bit of a hassle, but inexpensive... yeah I know how the old saying goes. :)

Great Deal!,

I got this to replace a lost charger for the Canon PowerShot SD1100. Both the charger and the batteries work fine, and the corded charger is more convenient than the original, albeit more bulky when traveling. However, with 2 extra batteries I don't even need to take the charger - just charge the extras before the trip and with 3 batteries I'm good for at least 450 pictures.

For the price this can't be beat. The other charge I was considering buying was 41 dollars, and considering my digital was only 150, that seemed a little high. This charger works fast and comes with two batteries plus the car adapter which I like.

Cheap, works great with my Canon SD1000. Battery life is even longer than the Canon OEM battery that came with the camera.

I got this for myself since my digital camera has a habit of running out of battery when I need it most. Now I never miss a picture. The price for this item is an absolute steal and the batteries last a good while after a full charge and (this is very important) holds its charge instead of being slowly drained like other cheap batteries.

I like it, it charges the battery I already have, and came with two more. This is the wisest investment that I found.
Works for the SD600, enjoy ^^

Been using this charger and batteries for a few weeks now and they seem to work and charge just fine. The battery seems to be totally compatible with the camera.

Although it functionally worked with the camera, the cord would come lose from the charger frequently, and would need to be propped "just right" with something on the cord to keep charging. A cat bumping it would interupt the charging. The battery life was very short before long, and I'm already buying the name brand (Cannon) charger already. I wish I just went with the cannon brand one in the first place instead of trying to prop this one up for so long.

These work fine and the batteries and charger keep my Canon SD750 running. The battery charge-life seems reasonable. When travelling internationally, I recommend keeping your batteries charged (including your spares), keep a spare in your pocket, and then charge the one(s) you used all day that night. The unit will not stand up to rough handling. One got broken in my laptop bag - I travel and do not pamper my bags. When I saw the current $20+ price, well, look on eBay and you will do better price-wise.
