So far so good. It looks like this battery is as good as the original that came with the camera.

Can't believe I bought this so much cheaper online. It was $40 in the store.I paid $8 for two!!!!!
Works like namebrand battery.

This battery works great, there isn't much of a difference, if any, between this and the battery that came with the camera. I definitely would recommend choosing this over the canon brand if you are going to buy an extra (or replacement) battery. Can't beat the price.

Seems to work just as well and last just as long as the Cannon battery. For 5$ each I have 3 and can go a month without worring about my camera going dead at some crucial time. (other then when it is sealed in the underwater dive case and I foolisly don't put a fresh one in after a week just before leaving on a dive boat on the barrier reef, out of luck after 3 shots there :-()

This battery is 1400mAh compared to the official Canon NB-5L, which is rated at 1120mAh. That means a single charge on this one should last even longer than factory, as opposed to most competitors which are only a pitiful 800mAh or less. FYI, it works in my Canon SX200 IS camera. (Color is more gray than the brown image above and is labeled 1400mAh rather than the 1200mAh shown.)

Amazon describes the batteries as "3.7 V / 1200 mAh ". However, the printing on the battery reads "3.7 V 1100 mAh." I don't have a way to tell the actual capacity, and they are probably a better value than the OEM Canon battery, even at the reduced capacity. Nevertheless, it would be nice if the Amazon description were accurate.

Arrived partially charged. Worked right out of the box. Can't beat the price. Cannot say anything about longevity at this point.
