Best PSP Game Ever,

This is by far the best PSP game I have ever had! It has so many different minigames and other fun activities. But it still has the regular franchise mode.
The minigames include elimiquest, conquest, pinball, block a shot, horse, dodgeball, and so many more. You'll be playing one for hours and enjoy it so much, you'll start 2 profiles for that minigame because it was so fun. You ave many different choices when playing pinball. The first ones are easy and then they get harder. When you play elimiquest or conquest, you'll never want to stop. You try to destroy every other team in the NBA and take over the counrty. Once you take that NBA team over, you get all their players. If they attack you and you win, you only get one of their players. It will keep you intangled in the game for so long, you'll practicly lose your mind. (In a good way). When playing franchise mode, you go through the whole season with your team, trying to be the best. Along the way, you can trade players and draft picks. You can also try to get your players into the all-star game. I played a franchise mode with the Miami Heat and I did really well. Three loses all year. (I was also on the easiest level). Throughout the season, I traded Udonis Haslem, Mark Blount, Bobby Jones, Chris Quinn, Marcus Banks, and a couple of others. In return, I got Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Perkins, Michael Finley, Tyson Chandlers, and a couple of other good players. I could have even gotten Paul Pierce if I wanted to, but I didn't. I had so much fun and it was addicting. So my closing words to you are, this is a great game! You'll love it, but be careful, you could just get addicted like me!

Pretty good basketball game, and a nice change of pace from the NBA Live series. There are approximately 15 mini / side games that you can play, which I feel are more fun the the traditional 5 on 5 NBA game. The Elimiquest side game is highly addictive and well thought out. Rosters are a slight bit out of date, but they can be updated thru the internet. Worth the $30 that I paid.

A great game, but it has some disadvantages. The graphics are great on some players, but terrible on others. Some player's faces, like Dwayne Wade's doesn't look right. The easiest one to notice was that Louis Scola's hair is short (instead of long). Another problem is the player's number, take Ron Artest, for example. Instead of number 96, it's 93. Some people think that this is bad, but I don't really care, because I get used to it: Shooting is much harder than other games. Another thing I don't care about is that there is no create a player. I really like the mini-games, like shooting bricks (brick breaker), and many others. It also has HORSE, The Skills Challenge, pick up games, and the 3 point shoot-out.

Awesome Features but lacking in some areas,

This is by far one of the best basketball games I have ever played, but the thing is, it's the hardest I've ever played. In one 10 minute game Carlos Boozer (of the Utah Jazz) had 5 blocks, in a half better yet. There are a bunch of areas that just get flat out frustrating, (this may be that I am new to the PSP) but if you set those aside it is a great game. They have lots of minigames including pinball, dodgeball, break the bricks (or whatever it's called) and much more.

This game can be said to be better than NBA Live 09.
The graphics is simple/decent and doesn't lag like NBA Live 09 does. The game is packed with mini games, such as dodge ball, skills challenge..conquer mode...dynasty mode...a lot of full feature minigames. The game is pretty straight forward, it doesn't give player's real life stats and other information like height, fg% etc...NBA live 09 has this tho, but it does play pretty accurately to how the player play in real life, but every game is not perfect, because in the game steve nash a guy who cant dunk in real life, can dunk in this game, and there are some missing key features in this game: this game does not have controls for taking charges or fade away shots. You can play online/ad hoc mode!!!! There is online roster updates too! This is a must have for all basketball fan who wants to play nba on the go.

Pretty good NBA game for the PSP,

NBA 09 The Inside is a good basketball game for the PSP. Though very simple, it can be addicting. The gameplay is fun to play most of time, but can sometimes get annoying. The weak part of the regular games is the defense. Unless you get in a post or you are wide open, the defense blocks almost every shot, and even though you can sometimes get a lucky shot off, it can be very frustrating. Another con is the fact that there are very few replays. There is no replay feature on the pause menu and the action replays are few and show mainly blocks and possibly a dunk, but even the highlight reels at the end of the game is short and boring. That said, the gameplay is better than NBA live and the shooting is fun to do. Also, instead of NBA live's frustrating plays when your on a fast break and you pass it to a open player, instead of continuing to run, the player stops to catch the pass, also stopping the momentum. In 09 the inside, players communicate on fast breaks and work together to set up plays.
Besides the play now mode, there are many game modes. The Franchise mode is fun, though not nearly as deep and detailed as NBA Live's. The most frustrating part is the trading. You cant even trade Carmelo Anthony for KG because you have to have 10% trading points or whatever. Besides that stupid peice of crap, the franchise mode is actually pretty fun. Then there are other normal modes such as Exhibition, playoff, and practice. A very fun thing to do is the 3 point contest and the skills contest. Both are complicated and fun. Then there are the mini games, 15 of them. The conquest and and elimiquest modes that are always fun and stratigec. Some other minigames include Horse, Dodgeball, elimination, and fast break. Also there are some fun carnival games and my persenal favorite, the pickup game. Though NBA 09 the inside has some weak spots, all games do, and it is a great game that is definently worth the money.

Game play is fluid, graphics are great, audio is superb.
Just a few issues 1 Rosters are incomplete and not updated very often 2 Officiating is buggy 3 No awards beyond All Star recognition 4 No create-a-player feature Overall game is excellent and very fun. The mini games are a good time waster however unnecessary.
