When I purchased this game I already knew how most of the game was cosidering, the fact that i had played the "demo" like 30 times, the only thing i didnt know about were other basketball games. the other bball games were clearly not as good as this one.

I am very surprised and happy with how many sorts of game modes so to speak are in nba 10. most of the game modes im talking about are mini games in the carnival section of the game. dodgeball,pinball,shooting bricks,bang the boards, and probably about 5 more. these games are also somewhat long for a minigame, and even within those minigames there are even minier games.

Once you play a bball game the graphix would be about uhhh... 4/5 stars considering you're playing on a 11x5 game system.

The only issue I have with the gameplay and many other people have this same problem, losing control of you're person in the game. for instance you're player could walk out of bounds when you stop running after running over there not intending to go out of bounds.

over all i think that this is a great value and i cant wait for the next game in the series!

It was a gift for my husband and he never stops playing! He really likes it...

the game play is good not perfect but good
the graphics is fair
the down side is you can't create a player
unable to find a new update on the rosters the rosters that comes with the game are obsolete
there is no story mode like in the 06 version of the game
the game modes are fun

Overall, this is a fun basketball game for the PSP. It has decent graphics and sound, and good commentary too. Where it lacks is in the gameplay region.

The highest difficulty of AI opponent means that the computer will shoot in the upper 70s (76% field goal percentage is not uncommon at all for the computer). It doesn't matter if your guy is right in front with arms raised and jumping at the same time the AI guy puts up a three point attempt -- the computer guy will make it almost everytime. This means that playing defense is pointless because the AI opponent will make almost any shot, while your guys will miss open jumpshots all the time. The computer will of course make 100% of free throws in every game as well.

I could go on and on but suffice it to say that while this game is fun to look at and hear, it is frustrating to play against an unrealistic computer opponent (of course there is no infrastructure online play either).
