3.0 out of 5 stars 3 out of 5 for me.., October 16, 2010
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars

This review is from: NBA 2K11 (Video Game)
I got this game like every other person out there..so desperately wanting to play that Jordan Challenge..hoping to see other classic teams as well..ok firstoff yes I know the PS2 is on it's last legs(of course with inflation etc prices going up..some people*cough*me..cant afford a PS3 yet)..so anyway no Jordan challenge..IDK if it ha all the players or not I just been making changes on the roster..I admit PS2 version didnt change much from PS3 version. So lets break it down shall we..starting with the negative:

Cons:

No Jordan Challenge

No Classic Teams(just the 60 70 80 n 90s all stars UGH..which im quite frankly tired of cause I wanna play with classic teams instead of all stars)

No Blacktop mode..so cant play 3pt shootout or dunk contest

Thats top 3 that takes this game down from a 5 star classic to a 3 star..NBA2K10 i was ok with..cause it did what i wanted it to do..2K11 supposed to be a masterpiece..and they blew it on PS2.

Pros:

Still very much realistic..what ive seen so far..people do have some of their signature moves(i dont expect every single detail), updated roster/ratings..umm thats about all i noticed so far.

So, the choice is yours..id say if you are a NBA fan, cant afford a PS3 yet, and if you can get over the cons..then buy it..BUT, if you want the masterpiece 2k11..wait til you get a better system or play your friends.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as Good as I had Thought, October 11, 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: NBA 2K11 (Video Game)
The game is a good game. Features are great, but I am picky when it comes to dribbling and shooting. I went into practice mode in "veteran" difficulty and my shots were all perfect yet I still missed them. I like realism and competition, but I don't want to be annoyed in the process. Missing wide open shots with great shooters like Ray Allen and Micheal Redd is frustrating. I have won all of my games by dunks and layups. It's really a good game and I do plan to repurchase, but right now it's not my cup of tea.

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment, August 6, 2011

= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: NBA 2K11 (Video Game)
I bought this game at a local Wal Mart in January after I heard great things about it. When I got home and out it in my PS2 I had to make sure it wasn't 2K10. Not many changes, no career mode and no Jordan Mode/Challenges. I got this game to do the Jordan modes and when it didn't have it i was so disappointed. Even the PSP and Wii have those features I mean come on 2K.Thats why I will not buy another 2K Title for the PS2 and will play PC for now on.
