As the name suggests this game is about the all-star weekend. You have the top player of each NBA team. Notable stars include Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, Larry Bird, and Hakeem Olajuwon. There are five gamplay modes to choose from. In all-star tournament mode you basically play a series of all-star games with selected players. In one-on-one mode you pick your favorite player going against an opponent. You can also test your free throw shooting in free throw competion mode. If that's not enough you can test your shooting skills in shootout mode. After that you can try to play H.O.R.S.E.
The graphics is good for a Gameboy. Players move very smoothly across the court. The music in this game is average and the control is okay. Get this game if you like the mini-games, which is pretty entertaining. If you want a more complete basketball game on the go then you have to get NBA 3 ON 3 FEATURING KOBE BRYANT. |
